Built on the site of old parallel stables this office suite had to comply to strict planning rules. This would ensure that the new building would not distract from the conservation site in which it was to be installed and also, from the outside, resemble the original stables.
To comply with these stipulations the main features of the building were that it should face inwards into a courtyard. Full height windows on the inward facing wall ensure the building is filled with natural light.
